Following the commemoration ceremony at BME, a torchlight procession sets off on the route Műegyetem rkp. – Szent Gellért rkp. – Várkert rkp. – Ybl Miklós tér – Lánchíd utca – Clark Ádám tér – Fő utca – Bem rkp. – Csalogány utca – Nagy Imre tér – Fő utca – Bem József tér to the Józef Bem statue

At 17:30, the Flame of Revolution rises in Nagy Imre Square, where Mayor of Budapest István Tarlós delivers a speech

At 18:00, a traditional wreath-laying ceremony begins at the Bem statue, where speakers are President of the Rákóczi Association József Halzl and István Szilárd Szász, PhD of Babeș-Bolyai University (Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, Romania)
